Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26-28ft) in good condition
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Lexington metro area routes preferred
