Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials at job sites with precision and efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members for seamless operations
- Manage route optimization and timely deliveries across Houston metro area
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of Houston-area traffic patterns and construction zones
- DOT medical certification and required safety training
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-site schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for minor repairs
