Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely deliveries and pickup scheduling
- Load/unload freight as required with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete all required training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and fleet management systems
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Willingness to stay overnight when required by delivery schedules
