Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer to transport goods across dedicated routes in the Mid-Atlantic region
- Adhere to DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections, trip reports, and electronic logging
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and delivery scheduling
- Maintain clean driving record and represent the company professionally
- Perform minor preventative maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
