Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in the Glendale, AZ area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at drop-off and pickup points.
- Handle paperwork, including delivery receipts and bills of lading, accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (Preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local and state traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle checks.
