Responsibilities
- Drive a 53-foot tractor-trailer to designated delivery stops in the Fort Wayne area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues.
- Complete daily paperwork and electronic logging accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
