Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize packages onto the delivery vehicle in an organized manner.
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Obtain electronic signatures for all deliveries and handle returns or exceptions if necessary.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to every recipient you encounter.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Utilize handheld devices for navigation, tracking, and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds repeatedly and handle various package sizes.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the dispatch center.
