Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in San Jose, CA, ensuring timely and safe arrivals.
- Utilize the company mobile application to manage delivery routes and communicate with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including friendly interactions and professional package handling.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
- Collect payments and obtain digital signatures where required.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions in the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for delivery work.
- A smartphone (iOS or Android) with a data plan for navigation and app access.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate the local area efficiently.
- Basic English proficiency for reading delivery instructions and communicating with customers.
