Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations: Safely load, secure, and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages to customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Accuracy: Ensure all packages are delivered to the correct address and signed for by the recipient.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, returns, and incidents as required.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Amazon's operating policies.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for effective communication with customers and dispatch.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if required by specific DSP policy).
- Attitude: A positive attitude and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
