Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently from the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle package handling inquiries professionally.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to update delivery status and maintain accurate records.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Organize the delivery van to optimize route efficiency and ensure order integrity.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (if applicable).
- A clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from the delivery center.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and scanning devices.
