Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across San Francisco and Bay Area routes
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently using GPS and traffic apps
- Maintain delivery logs and communicate status updates to dispatch
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation and inventory
- DOT medical certification or ability to obtain
- Pass background check and random drug screenings
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
