Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in strict accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery issues or schedule changes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
