Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain through paid training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety protocols and maintenance
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Clean driving record with no major violations
