Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop regional routes
- Plan and optimize daily delivery schedules using GPS and routing software
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques following DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and ETA updates
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with current medical certificate
- Minimum 3 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 5 years
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- HazMat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screen
