Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer vehicles in a safe and professional manner at all times.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and strictly within the agreed schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and all required documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery times.
- Ensure the security, condition, and proper handling of cargo during transit.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (valid in Texas).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel long distances and adapt to varying schedules.
