Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles safely and efficiently on a designated route.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Verify cargo contents against bills of lading and maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
