Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Box Trucks, Vans) within Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment (pallet jacks, straps).
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and to the correct location with 100% accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
- Complete and submit daily delivery logs and mileage reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no DUIs or serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of local Albuquerque streets and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
