Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations in Mesa and surrounding areas.
- Verify and record the quantity, type, and condition of merchandise upon pickup and delivery.
- Obtain proper signatures and payment for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients politely and resolving delivery issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no recent major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the local Mesa, AZ geography and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices and tracking software.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
