Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatchers via our mobile app
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes to minimize delivery times and maximize customer satisfaction
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and maintain clean vehicle interiors
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
