Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Manage efficient loading/unloading procedures at client facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Represent Southwest Transport Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be 21+ years old
