Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (26,000+ GVW) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet tight deadlines
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning apps
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
