Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within Louisville metro area
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle conditions
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisville metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times
