Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Dallas metroplex and surrounding areas with on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load management
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Dallas area highways and delivery routes
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
