Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional night routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during night operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently overnight (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting
- Pass background check and drug screening
