Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for overnight freight deliveries within the Seattle metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections, safety compliance checks, and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Ensure secure cargo handling and adherence to all FMCSA regulations
- Communicate professionally with clients at delivery points during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and GPS navigation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Flexibility for occasional weekend or holiday coverage
