Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes in Dallas metroplex
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation verification
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route optimization for timely service
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist in training new weekend drivers as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts required)
- Preferred: Hazmat endorsement or tanker experience
