Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods between terminals, warehouses, and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery schedule adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Assist in unloading shipments when necessary using proper equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with San Francisco Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Flexible availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional weekday coverage
