Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes
- Maintain meticulous DOT compliance logs and vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient multi-stop deliveries
- Handle specialized freight with temperature-controlled equipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Utilize GPS navigation for on-time delivery optimization
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain customer communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 5am-5pm)
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Arizona highway regulations and mountain routes
