Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for nighttime freight transport across Northern California
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure handling of high-value cargo and adherence to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 70 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Pass background check and drug screening
