In this role, you will operate over-the-road (OTR) dedicated lanes, ensuring that freight is delivered safely and on time. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long distances on dedicated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery stops.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and weight limits.
- Reliable communication skills and professional demeanor.
