Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on various construction sites.
- Load, transport, and unload materials (sand, gravel, asphalt) efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate clearly with site supervisors and dispatchers regarding load times and routes.
- Ensure the truck bed is clean and ready for the next haul.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, or be willing to complete our paid training program.
- Must possess a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading duties and work in varying weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues is a plus.
