Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional deliveries
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and company service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (provided)
