Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles for local/short-haul routes
- Manage timely delivery of goods to commercial and residential locations
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and traffic avoidance
- Handle secure cargo and verify delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
