Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Wisconsin and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Handle secure cargo documentation and verify shipment integrity
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions during overnight hours
- Represent our company with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass thorough background check and DOT physical examination
- Familiarity with Milwaukee metro area and regional highways
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to cover weekend shifts as needed
