Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance documentation
- Manage efficient loading/unloading of freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Support team goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro routes and geography
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
