Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries.
- Keep the vehicle clean and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of truck operations and safety features.
