Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and communication
- Document delivery status and handle necessary paperwork accurately
- Maintain professional customer service during loading/unloading procedures
- Participate in regular safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts as needed
