Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logbooks
- Inspect and maintain assigned trucks for optimal safety and performance
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route planning and load management
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of freight materials
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metro area and Ohio roadways
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
