Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and obtain required signatures
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient loading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- DOT medical certification
