Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments as required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Raleigh area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings
- Pass background and drug screening
