Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate a delivery van safely and efficiently to ensure on-time delivery of packages to customers.
- Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring they are handled with care and placed in the correct delivery zones.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, greet them politely, and obtain signatures upon delivery when required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks and maintain a clean and organized delivery van.
- Route Management: Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C driver's license and a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to use handheld scanning devices.
