Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely for long-haul routes across the Southeast
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere to HOS regulations and electronic logging compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain via paid training)
- Minimum 21 years old with clean MVR
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to travel 2-3 weeks at a time
- Basic math and map-reading skills
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
