Responsibilities
- Operate dry van trailers on dedicated regional routes with consistent home time
- Safely transport goods while adhering to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays with guaranteed weekly home time
