Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for long-haul routes across the continental U.S.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations.
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience with verifiable references.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging systems.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and overnight travel.
