Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and on schedule
- Plan and execute multi-stop delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville metro area roadways
- DOT-compliant physical examination and medical certification
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
