Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials (sand, gravel, dirt, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload materials using winches, forklifts, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo manifests.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors regarding schedule changes or delays.
- Keep the truck cab and sleeping area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a tanker endorsement preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and climbing in and out of the cab.
- Valid state identification and social security card.
