Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming bus environment for students.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, prioritizing their safety at all times.
- Manage student behavior on the bus to ensure a distraction-free driving environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, school administrators, and parents regarding schedules and delays.
- Submit accurate daily logs and mileage reports.
Qualifications
- No prior driving experience required (we provide CDL training and certification).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement is preferred but training is available.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Must be available to work early morning shifts and afternoons.
