Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes within Seattle metro area
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure temperature-controlled freight integrity for sensitive loads
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional trucking experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and operate warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of Seattle traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
