Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Optimize route efficiency to meet tight delivery schedules
- Represent the company professionally with clients and vendors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of freight handling procedures
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
