Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and securing equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedule changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc. preferred).
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
